Valentine’s Special 2 – One Sweet Day (part 2)

Translator: Mab

Editor: Kiriyume

Author note: Attention! These chapters are unrelated to the main story line. They are nothing more than special chapters (haha).

After meeting Felicia, my next destination was a cafe in the vicinity of the Royal Palace.

The one awaiting me there was—

“Nii-sama!”

Linne, donning the official white-based uniform of a Kingsguard Order knight.

She was taller and more mature than ever.

Her red hair shone and her face was full of life. She looked a lot like Lidya, although with a more tender atmosphere. Her age was somewhere between an adult and a young girl?

Well… I already knew this beforehand, but she really was adorable beyond words. Her body lines were also becoming a bit too voluptuous for my mental health.

Seeing me frozen in my tracks, Linne walked over with a curious gaze in her eyes.

“What’s the matter? Is there something on your mind?”

“—I’m fine, thank you for worrying.”

“N-, Nii-sama!? Umm…”

“Yeah.”

“I-, I have my position to live up to, so, um… Please stop doing this in public…”

“I’m sorry. I did it out of habit.”
“Ah…”

My body naturally patted her head.

I mustn’t, I mustn’t. I know this is a dream, but it’s still bad to do something others hate.

…Linne, why do you make such a face?

“Now, let us grab some bite. You haven’t eaten anything yet, have you?”

“Y-, yes. Ah, but—No, it’s alright. Let’s order something.”
“Hm? Aren’t we waiting for someone?”

“No. No one else is coming. It is just the two of us.”

“…Lin~ Ne~…”

“Tch. She’s fast.”

Linne’s face cramped, and a voice I was all too familiar with resonated through the air.

…Yup, it seems like their relationship hasn’t changed.

The one who ran over here is Tina, similarly dressed in the Kingsguard Order uniform as Linne.

She was undoubtedly a beautiful woman. She sure had grown taller. As for her body—yup, it fell in the safe zone.

She must have ran here at full speed. Her hair was a mess, sticking out everywhere.

“Haa haa haa… Quite the nerve… you have, setting a… trap like that…”

“Whatever do you mean by that? Will you please stop making me look bad before Nii-sama?”
“WHA!?!? Y-, you’re always, always, acting like a goody two-shoes, covering up your wretched…!”

“Tina.”

“!! S-, Sensei. Umm, err, that’s…”

“Please take a seat.”
“Eh? O-, okay.”

I took out a comb from my bag and fixed her uneven hair.

Her hair was as beautiful as ever.

For the time being, I warned Linne.

“Linne, it is bad to be mean, okay?”

“…I am not being mean. In fact, she is being mean to me.”
“That’s a lie! Look at today, you set up a trap so you could be alone with Sensei!”

“…I have to watch a certain someone’s hair being fixed by Sensei right in front of me, isn’t that a greater offense?”

“Ah, well, I guess that is true. I-, I’m sorry.”
“No, I went a little bit out of line myself.”

“You two sure are good friends, Tina, Linne.”
“We are not!!”

I couldn’t help but snicker.

Ah, that’s good. It seems that these girls have become friends in the truest sense of the word.

With my free hand, I patted Linne’s head again.

“…Nii-sama.”
“I know. Forgive me. You two are so lovely, I can’t help myself.”
“!”

“There, it’s been fixed.”

“T-, thank you very much… Sensei.”

“What may be it?”

“Why do you use polite speech when you talk to me even though you’re speaking normally with Linne? I knew it, you’re angry with me, after all…?”

“Am I?”
“You are! Please, use normal speech with me too, like always.”

Hmm… Apparently, I had stopped using polite speech against Tina in this dream.

Once again, I took a look at the two of them.

What kind of circumstances that led them being knights of the Kingsguard Order, I had no idea, but—the uniform suited them to a fault. Even so, I couldn’t remember seeing the badge on their sleeves before. It had a bird, a few roses, and a sword in it. Quite the flashy badge…

“What’s the matter, Nii-sama?”
“Sensei?”
“Ah, I’m sorry. I’m just looking at your badge.”

“?”

“I was thinking that it sure is flashy.”

“Aah… B-, but, Nee-sama has put a lot of thought into it, you know?”

“T-, that’s true! If you say things like that, Lidya-san will get upset again! The last time it happened, it evolved into such a tragedy… I mean, I know that Sheryl-sama is beautiful, but complimenting her right in front of Lidya-san was a straight out…!”

“Ara? I wonder whoever it was who pouted alongside Nee-sama back then?”

“Why, you!? I-, if that’s how you want to play it, then who was it who grinded her teeth so hard when Sensei and Sheryl-sama danced!?”
“…Heeh. And you dare to say it in front of Nii-sama?”
“…What is it? Do you want me to say more?”

Ah~ I see now. It seems like Lidya is the one who made it.

Yeah, it has her properties in its every line.

Also, it seems like she is leading a branch of the Kingsguard Order?

…I also heard the name of someone I hadn’t met in a long time. But, we danced? What kind of situation was it? I know this is a dream, but it needs to be more realistic than that.

Well, not that it mattered. For the time being, I separated the two who were on the verge of drawing their respective swords with levitation magic and made them sit on the chairs.

“You’re such good friends, so you mustn’t get into a fight so easily.”

“We are not good friends.”
“Sure, sure. Now, let’s pick a menu for lunch. The two of you are hungry, aren’t you?”
“…Yes.”

“Aah, and also.”
“?”
“—That uniform looks good on you two. You two are such beauties no matter how I look at it.”
“Hyau-”
“…S-, saying that in the public is, um… well, if possible, I’d wish you’d say it when we’re alone…”

Linne was lying down on the table, writhing.

Tina was blushing hard, face looking down.

I was smiling again.

Ah, geez, my students are so cute.

When I was still smiling in good humor, the two of them cleared their throats almost at the same time.

And then, there were two small packages placed on the table. They both had been wrapped elegantly. However, they were kind of similar, so perhaps Tina and Linne made it together.

Then, the two of them glared at each other.

“I’m first!!”

“You both put it down at the same time—Thank you, I’m happy. Did you two make it together, I wonder?”

“!?”

“Of course I know. I am still you two’s Sensei, you see.”

“…Nii-sama.”
“…Sensei.”

“Hm? What is it?”
“Shouldn’t you, umm, say that you’re our… I leave the rest to you…”

“Wha!? Y-, you wussy woman. Ahem. Shouldn’t you…… I-, I can’t possibly say it in front of so many people~!!”

Tina, whose face had grown even redder, raised a scream.

With that, she garnered the attention of the whole cafe. With one hand raised in front of my face, I bowed down to the customers around, calming down the situation.

Good grief—

“These are tokens of gratitude, right? It’s alright, I understand.”
“…You’re a meanie, Nii-sama.”
“…You’re wrong, Linne. Sensei—Allen is a big, BIIGG meanie. He’s always been.”
“How cruel. Girls who said that will get this!”

A little bit roughly, I played around with their hair.

The two of them looked surprised. Their bodies jolted, but they didn’t get rid of my hands—until one courageous waiter made up his mind to take our order.
