The Classless Transferee's Skill Copy - Chapter 64
Chapter 64: For the Sake of Protecting Her
After using the Monster Drug, Algard turned into an Orc.
Holding an axe in his right hand, he let out a war cry.
Much in the likeness of a vengeful and hateful demon, he glared at us.
“All you riffraff… are getting IN MY WAY! Lulu! I’ll make you REGRET not choosing MEEEEEE!”
Swinging his axe, the Orc slashed at Lulu.
Lulu shrunk in fear. In order to protect her, her father stood in front of her to block the Orc’s path.
“I’m the one who set you up with that man. Now I’ll be the one to protect you!”
…he was a good father.
That’s too reckless, I thought to myself, blocking the path between the Orc and the others with Enzetta.
However, the force of the attack was powerful enough to crack the ground I stood on.
“Ugh…! What kind of power is this…?!”
“Out of my way!”
Having invoked his wrath, I was kicked away, falling into a nearby river.
Magius struck with punches of red lightning, causing the Orc to retreat.
Meryl and Eim, who had been keeping tabs on us, joined the front line.
“Algard-dono! All you’re doing is increasing your sentence! Surrender now!”
Veig tried to plead with Algard—the Orc—but, not listening, the Orc swung at him with its axe.
Veig left, dodged the swing, and drew his sword.
“Don’t think a knight like you can stop ME!”
“I’ve got no choice but to…!”
Wielding his sword, Veig ran up to the Orc and slashed countless times.
His sword clashed with the Orc’s axe.
However, Veig gradually lost power and began to be pushed down.
“Leave it to me…!”
With a jetpack on her back, Eim supported Veig from the skies.
The Orc shouted, releasing a wave of force, causing Eim to be blown away.
Worried about Eim, Veig’s focus wavered, causing him to be kicked away by the Orc.
After kicking Veig away, the Orc threw its axe at Meryl and the rest like a boomerang.
In hopes of stopping the axe, Magius covered his arms in red lightning, but Meryl was first to move.
Magius, Meryl, Lulu-san, and the rest were enveloped in a blue-colored barrier field.
Though the axe struck the barrier field directly, the attack was blocked, and the axe returned to the Orc’s hand.
Then, as the Orc was about to throw it again, it noticed me coming out of the river.
I trained the barrel of Bulleter at it, and fired a barrage.
Blocking all the bullets with its axe, the Orc threw its axe at me.
However, Veig slashed at the axe, causing it to change trajectory. It returned to the Orc’s hands.
This bastard’s really strong…!
“LULU! I’m saying this once again! BECOME MY WOMAN!”
Being rejected by Lulu caused the Orc’s anger to reach its peak, and it dashed up to her.
Meryl, Magius, and Eim stood between them to impede the Orc’s progress, but it swept them away with its axe.
Then, it grabbed Lulu.
“Ugh…! Let me… go!”
“Enough! I’ll make you mine… even WITHOUT your permission!!”
As it shouted this, it ran off with Lulu in tow.
“Like hell I’ll let you!”
With Enzetta, I slashed at him to rescue Lulu but was blown away by a shockwave from a swing of his axe.
“I’LL BE TAKING THIS!”
With Lulu over its shoulder, the Orc ran off.
“Lulu…! Lulu is…!”
Lulu’s father cried, frustrated at how he was unable to protect him.
I clasped his shoulder and smiled.
“Please don’t worry. I’ll definitely… save Lulu.”
Letting go of his shoulder, I activated Wing.
“Meryl, Magius! Take care of him! Eim, follow behind me with Veig!”
Seeing my allies nod, I turned to look at Veig.
Though we didn’t exchange words, he probably heard what I had asked my allies a few moments prior, so he nodded, and we chased after the Orc.
After flying for a while, we managed to find the Orc.
Lulu had probably lost consciousness…!
Having noticed us, the Orc threw its axe at us.
Dodging it, we drew closer to the Orc.
A blue-haired man then stood in front of me.
Becoming aware of the Orc upon me screaming, the blue-haired man’s eyes narrowed, and he drew a rapier.
“Get out of my waaaaaay!”
The Orc’s screams didn’t faze him at all, and the man accumulated energy into his rapier, thrusting it at the Orc…
Being blown away by the attack, the Orc let go of Lulu.
The blue-haired man caught her in midair.
Standing up, the Orc roared, and thrust his axe at the man.
He’d be cut down by the axe like this…
Or at least that’s what I thought, but the blue-haired man smirked and replied.
With the unconscious Lulu slung over his shoulder, the blue-haired man repeatedly stabbed the Orc with his rapier.
The Orc was hit by the series of stabs, but it managed to parry one of the thrusts with its axe, causing the blue-haired man to stagger, creating an opening.
Like I’d let the Orc do that!
Moving, I sent two slashes at the Orc as it swung its axe.
A skill that functioned like using Slash twice.
Blood spurt out from the Orc’s body, having been hit by Twin Slash.
The Orc was cut down, dying as it sank in a sea of blood… and disappearing.
As I sheathed Enzetta, the blue-haired man who had rescued Lulu approached me.
“You really helped me out there. Thanks.”
“You too. It’s thanks to you that that thing was defeated. Thanks for helping Lulu out, as well.”
Retrieving the unconscious Lulu, I said some words of courtesy to him.
“My name is Asou Aruto. Pleased to meet you.”
Seeing me put my hand out for a handshake, the blue-haired man clapped his hands as though he had remembered something.
“Asou… ? Oh! You’re the classless adventurer whose name has been going around recently!”
… It’s been a long time since I’d heard that name.
“I’m Snow Crowzell… well met!”
I shook the hand of the blue-haired man, Snow Crowzell…
